Is the Bucket Hat trend here to stay?

It's difficult to say for certain whether the bucket hat trend will continue to be popular in the long term. Fashion trends tend to come and go, and what is popular at one time may not be popular at another. However, bucket hats have been around for a long time and have had periods of popularity in the past. What differentiates bucket hats from other styles of hats is there popularity among people of all ages, with an applicable use in nearly every scenario and sport.

Bucket hats are also generally more casual in nature and are often associated with laid-back, relaxed style which make them a go to for individuals that don't want to put too much thought into what they're wearing. Celebrities have a large influence on the direction fashion goes, with early access from the latest fashion shows designs and designers at their disposal but I think that's where bucket hats are omitted from trend. They have stood the test of time like the baseball cap, for their relationship with sport and culture. University sport teams, societies, groups alike all adorn their logo's on garments for the season ahead, usually within that lies a bucket hat.

A staple amongst the après skiers standing on the table tops with beer in hand, walking up the next morning not wearing the same one from the start of the day. Is it a fashion statement or a personality trait ? A question that does not likely have an answer.
